DVE’s Telepresence 32 to be seen on CBS’s

today that the firm’s soon-to-be-released Telepresence 32 eye contact
conferencing system will be sneak previewed to the public on the CBS
drama Numb3rs. Ridley Scott Production chose the Telepresence 32 as the
cutting-edge communication system linking the FBI Headquarters with the
Center for Disease Control. Of specific note the Telepresence 32 was
configured for “Transparent Display Mode” so the image appeared
to float at the end of the table. “Unlike traditional videoconferencing,
the Telepresence 32 provides perfect eye contact and an extremely life-like
experience which is perfect for the theme of the TV program” according
to Jeff Machtig co-founder of DVE.
The Telepresence 32 is a next generation personal conferencing system
that will be officially launched in Q2, 2005 with DVE’s full line-up
of Real Telepresence conferencing products. Specific details of the Telepresence
32 product and the complete line of new products will be released at
that time.
